How to Donate Ways to Donate Donor Recognition Program
Privacy Policy
1. Purpose of collection and use of personal information

The Korea University Development Fund collects personal information in order to complete the donation agreement, to issue a detailed donation receipt which can be used for tax benefit purposes, and to provide courtesy services to donors.

2. Items of personal information to be collected

■ Required Information
Donor's personal information (name/corporate name). If you do not agree to the terms and conditions, include date of birth, mobile phone number, agreement information (purpose of donation, donation period, pledge amount), payment method (choose one of account deposit or automatic transfer (bank name, account number, name of the account holder if the account holder and the donor are different, either first 6 digits of the account holder’s resident registration number), or faculty salary deduction (faculty ID))

■ Optional Information
(When you agree to the terms and conditions) resident registration number (business registration number), relationship with the university (undergraduate department), year of admission, parents, staff position in school, etc.), mailing address, email, phone number (home or workplace), company name/department/position

3. Period of Storage and Use of Collected Personal Information

Personal information collected in accordance with Article 160-3 of the Income Tax Act, Article 113 Paragraph 1 and Article 208-3 of the Enforcement Decree of the Income Tax Act, Article 58 of the Enforcement Regulations of the Income Tax Act, Article 112-2 of the Corporate Tax Act, and Article 15 of the Personal Information Protection Act will be retained and used until a donor's request for deletion.

4. Purpose of usage by the institute/trustee entrusted with handling personal information

Korea University's Office of Development & External Affairs may provide collected information to third parties for donation tax deduction purposes, donation payment processing, and the provision of donor courtesy services.

1) National Tax Service (for year-end income/tax credit purposes)
2) Korea Financial Telecommunications and Clearings Institute (to automatically transfer donations via direct debit)

5. In the absence of agreement to information collection, you cannot use your donation for tax benefits, access customized donor courtesy services, or the direct debit facility.
